Researchers are continuously seeking sustainable solutions to enhance crop productivity and resilience to environmental stresses like drought. A recent study conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, investigated the synergistic effects of seaweed extract and free amino acids on the growth and yield of durum wheat (<code>Sakha 93<\/code>), as well as its ability to withstand water stress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This research highlights the significant potential of biofertilizers to improve crop performance by enhancing nutrient absorption, boosting physiological indicators, and providing a natural defense against harsh conditions.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Study Overview &amp; Key Findings<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The field experiment, conducted over a full growing season (November to June), compared several treatments, including a control group, traditional NPK fertilization, and various applications of seaweed extract (from <i>Ascophyllum nodosum<\/i>) and free amino acids.
